Minister Mohcine Jazouli in Marrakech-Safi for the territorialization of the private investment strategy

After the Oriental, the Minister Delegate In charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Mohcine JAZOULI, goes to the region of Marrakech - Safi as part of the territorialization of the private investment strategy of the Kingdom.
This field trip aims to share, with public and private actors in the region, the territorial declination of the objectives set by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God Assist him, in terms of private investment, to reach 550 billion dirhams of investment and create 500,000 jobs by 2026, and to strengthen the convergence of the various initiatives to achieve these objectives at the regional level.
The Marrakech-Safi region has many assets that make it one of the most prosperous regions of the Kingdom. Its dynamic economy is supported by key sectors such as tourism, industry, mining, crafts and agriculture. Public investments, combined with a clear strategic vision, have enabled the development of world-class infrastructure, including airports, roads, industrial areas and energy facilities.
The Marrakech-Safi region has many assets that make it one of the most prosperous regions of the Kingdom. With a private investment objective in the Marrakech-Safi region of 58 billion dirhams and 50,000 jobs by 2026, the region must contribute nearly 10% of the national objective. The concerted work of regional and central stakeholders is already bearing fruit, with a significant increase in investment projects approved in 2023, with more than 500 projects approved for a projected creation of 26,000 additional jobs.
On the program of this visit, a working session chaired by the Wali of the Region Marrakech Safi, Mr. Farid CHOURAK, bringing together the main regional actors of the investment ecosystem, working sessions at the Regional Investment Center, site visits and a meeting with investors in the region.
