Morocco hosts the Bloomberg New Economy Africa conference.

For the first time in Africa, the Kingdom of Morocco hosted the prestigious Bloomberg New Economy Gateway Africa conference in Marrakech on 13 and 14 June 2023. This high-level event brought together political decision-makers, heads of major companies and opinion leaders to discuss and debate the major economic and geopolitical issues of the day. On this occasion, Minister Mohcine Jazouli led a discussion session on the theme of "Morocco's green assets and Africa's major role in decarbonizing the world". 

Drawing on its industrial capacity and abundant renewable energy resources, Morocco has everything it takes to consolidate its position as a leading green center in the region. From sustainable mobility and manufacturing to the production of green fertilizers and hydrogen, the country is taking a comprehensive approach to sustainable development. In this round table, the focus was on the driving forces behind the region's green transition, while highlighting the most promising short- and long-term investment opportunities.
