Portugal-Morocco Economic Forum
2023-05-12Mr. Mohcine JAZOULI, the Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Public Policy Evaluation, participated in the inauguration of the Portugal-Morocco Economic Forum during the High-Level Meeting chaired by the Head of Government, Aziz AKHANNOUCH. Thanks to the enlightened Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, Morocco is an essential strategic partner for Europe in several priority areas.
During this event, the Minister also signed a memorandum of understanding, paving the way for an investment agreement between MICEPP - the Ministry of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency - AMDIE, and the Portuguese company Valérius Têxteis. This agreement pertains to a new textile recycling project valued at nearly 1 billion dirhams, expected to create 1,500 jobs.
