Information day with regional investment centers (CRI’s)

On May 11, 2023, Mr. Mohcine JAZOULI, Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence and the Evaluation of Public Policies, brought together the General Directors of the 12 Regional Investment Centers (CRIs) for an initial information and coordination meeting. 

This meeting follows the adoption of Decree 2.23.310 implementing Law 47.18 on reforming regional investment centers (CRIs) and creating unified regional investment commissions, which places the CRIs under the authority of the Head of Government. This decision comes in application of the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God Assist Him, who, in his speech to Parliament when the opening of the 1st session of the 2nd legislative year of the 11th legislature, called on the CRIs to "oversee the entire investment process and increase its efficiency". It also consolidates the government's efforts to unify investment governance and continues the reform already initiated by law 47.18, which has transformed the CRIs, standardizing the investment decision-making framework at the regional level, simplifying procedures, and improving processing times. The meeting marks the launch of the next stage in the reform of the CRIs. During the meeting, emphasis was placed on achieving the objectives set by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and the need to work in concert with all parties concerned, at both central and territorial levels.
