Meeting with the Ministerial Envoy for Green Hydrogen Projects for the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action

The Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Mohcine JAZOULI, held, on Thursday February 29th, 2024, a productive work meeting with the Ministerial Envoy for Green Hydrogen Projects for the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, Mr. Jürgen FRIEDRICH. 

This meeting provided an excellent opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relationship on green hydrogen between Morocco and Germany, especially considering the strong complementarity of both countries in this field.  
As underlined by His Majesty the King Mohammed VI in His recent Throne Speech, with regards to green hydrogen, the ambition is " to leverage our country's significant potential in this regard, and to meet the expectations of leading global investors in this promising field."  
"The clear complementarity between our economies and our shared goals in addressing climate change pave the way for a unique partnership in green hydrogen. Morocco stands among the very few countries in the world where sustainable green energy goes hand in hand with improved competitiveness." Stated Minister JAZOULI.
