The MICEPP participates in the 4th World Forum on Evaluation
The Ministry of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies (MICEPP) took part in the 4th World Forum on Evaluation, held in Rabat from February 26 to 28, 2024, under the theme "Contemporary Practices in Progressive Evaluation."
Organized by EvalPartners, in collaboration with MICEPP, the Moroccan Evaluation Association (AME), and United Nations agencies, this event provided an opportunity to share with an international audience the efforts undertaken by MICEPP, guided by the enlightened Leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God Assist Him, to strengthen the coherence of public policies and monitor their implementation.
Speaking at this event, Mr. Omar HASSOUNI, acting Director General for Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, emphasized that "The evaluation of public policies is central for the renewal of public affairs management. It improves the performance of government action and ensures better use of public resources. As an internal mechanism to the executive, the evaluation contributes to achieving the convergence of public policies. It ensures coherence between various public interventions and maximizes their impact."
On this occasion, MICEPP, represented by Mr. Zakaria FARAHAT, Director of Communication, International Cooperation, and Partnerships, and the Moroccan Evaluation Association (AME), represented by its president, Mr. Ahmed BENCHEIKH, signed a partnership agreement aimed at strengthening and promoting the culture of evaluation and exploring ways to adapt evaluation practices.
