Morocco - Belgium : Charting a New path for strengthening economic ties at the heart of the Business Forum

As part of the 3rd High Joint Commission Morocco-Belgium, the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) organized, in partnership with the Embassy of Belgium in Morocco, the Morocco-Belgium Business Forum on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, in Casablanca. This forum brought together the private sectors of Morocco and Belgium to discuss business climates and investment opportunities between the two countries.
During his speech at this event, Mr. JAZOULI expressed the determination of the two countries to chart a new course for their economic ties. “Morocco and Belgium possess complementary strengths and valuable resources that can be synergized to stimulate growth and innovation. The High Joint Commission of Cooperation is a reminder of the need to inject new momentum into this economic relationship. The prospects are promising, and we must seize them to strengthen Belgium's position as one of Morocco's top economic and trade partners.” Emphasized Mr. Mohcine JAZOULI
In presence of the Head of Government Mr. Aziz AKHANNOUCH and the Belgian Prime Minister, Mr. Alexander De CROO, the opening session featured speeches from Mr. Chakib ALJ, President of CGEM, Mr. Ryad MEZZOUR, Minister of Industry and Trade, Mrs. Leila BENALI, Minister of Energetic Transition and Sustainable Development, Mr. Mohcine JAZOULI, Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, and Ms. Théodora GENTZIS, President of the Board of Directors of the Belgian SPF Foreign Affairs.
