Ceremony for the Exchange of Several Memorandums of Understanding between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United Arab Emirates
The recent official visit of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, to the United Arab Emirates was marked by the signing of a historic joint declaration between the two leaders, thus sealing an innovative partnership that illustrates the depth and excellence of relations between the two Heads of State and their respective nations.
This declaration represents a major turning point by establishing a new paradigm based on a partnership focused on co-development, mutual prosperity, and co-construction, both in Morocco and the United Arab Emirates, as well as in Africa and the Atlantic space, in accordance with the Vision desired by His Majesty the King, may God assist Him.
The envisioned partnership aims to leverage the complementarities of each country's strengths, as well as their soft power assets. Its primary objective is to serve the supreme interests of both nations by promoting wealth creation, job generation, and value addition.
The signing ceremony of the Memorandums of Understanding (MoU), presided over by both Heads of State, resulted in the conclusion of 12 agreements covering concrete investment projects and socio-economic development programs in various sectors. These agreements demonstrate the willingness to promote Morocco's openness to brotherly countries, inviting them to participate in the new phase of the kingdom's development and to benefit from the numerous forthcoming opportunities, particularly related to the ambition of hosting the 2030 World Cup.
This entire new phase of development is part of His Majesty's enlightened Vision, based on two essential pillars: social welfare on the one hand, and economic growth intended to finance this social welfare on the other.
In this context, numerous significant public and private projects have been or will be launched in the near future, and opening up these investment opportunities to brotherly countries will accelerate these projects.
