Francophone Entrepreneurs Meeting: Morocco as a Pillar of Economic and Social Development in the Francophone Space

The Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Convergence and the Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Mohcine JAZOULI, took part on Thursday, May 30, in Marrakech, in the 4th Francophone Entrepreneurs Meeting, organized by the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) in partnership with the Alliance of Francophone Employers (APF).
During his opening speech, Mr. Mohcine JAZOULI stated, "Given its long-standing relationship with Francophone countries and its particular political and economic relations with brotherly African countries, Morocco can act as a pillar of economic and social development in the Francophonie [...] I am convinced that this new phase of Morocco's development must be carried out in partnership with the Francophone economic space to create high-value-added synergies, in the service of a more sustainable world.“
He also asserted, "Francophone economic space is a powerful growth driver in a constantly changing world. It is necessary to optimize logistics corridors to promote trade between our countries, invest in human capital skills to unlock the potential of our economies, and seize the opportunities offered by the ecological transition of our world.“
With the participation of economic delegations from 35 countries, this meeting aims to connect companies from Francophone countries to boost trade and promote investments. Thus, it outlines ways and means to open up new perspectives for development, prosperity, and solidarity in the Francophone space.
