The Minister of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Mohcine Jazouli, participated in the 2nd Cultural and Creative Industries Conference, held on October 2 and 3, 2024, under the theme "Celebrating Heritage, Investing in Progress." Organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI May God Assist Him, this event aims to position culture as an essential driver for economic growth, innovation, and development of Moroccan youth.
Speaking at the first panel on "Public-Private Partnership: A Winning Asset for Culture," Mr. Jazouli stated that the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) sector holds enormous untapped economic potential, where Morocco has significant advantages to create jobs, particularly for youth and women.
The Minister emphasized the importance of the convergence of efforts between the public and private sectors to strengthen the development of this sector, while improving citizens' access to culture, which is a major lever for nurturing, enriching, and protecting active citizenship.
The Minister also expressed the MICEPP's commitment to supporting CCI stakeholders through the implementation of the Investment Charter's incentive mechanisms, the simplification of procedures, and the support of AMDIE and the CRIs.
