Marrakech: Signing of three MoUs on the occasion of GITEX Africa

The Minister of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Karim Zidane, participated on April 14 and 15, 2025, in the third edition of GITEX AFRICA Morocco, held in Marrakech under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him.
The event witnessed the signing of three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between the MICEPP, the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform and the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development, on one side, and international companies on the other. These agreements aim at enhancing investment momentum through engagement in promising sectors and contributing to the creation of high-value job opportunities. The agreements include:
- An MoU with Arrow ECS Morocco, which plans to transfer part of its European operations to Casablanca, particularly in the areas of management, competence centers, and shared services. The projected investment amounts to 116.7 million dirhams, with 700 direct jobs to be created by 2029.
- An MoU with KPMG, an international firm specializing in audit, advisory, legal, and tax services. The expected investment is 46 million dirhams by 2029, with 150 direct jobs to be created.
- An MoU with 2T Services Maroc, which concerns multidisciplinary services platform as part of the new urban hub Oujda City Center. The investment is expected to reach 17 million dirhams by 2028, with 200 direct jobs to be created.
The organization of the 2025 edition of GITEX AFRICA reaffirms the sustained momentum of the digital sector and further consolidates Morocco’s position as a leading and reliable destination for investment in advanced technologies.
