MICEPP unveils the new Investment Charter to the diplomatic corps accredited to Rabat
The Ministry of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies (MICEPP), represented by Mr. Zakaria Farahat, Director of International Cooperation, Communication, and Partnerships, organized on September 5, 2023, in the capital, a meeting dedicated to presenting the new investment charter and the new roadmap for the business climate to the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Rabat and international organizations active in the fields of cooperation and development.
Under the theme "Morocco, a privileged land for private investments," this event also served to recall that, with its strengths and thanks to the reforms undertaken, Morocco continues to establish itself, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, as a regional and continental economic power.
The event, rich in debates and perspectives, brought together nearly 250 diplomats and representatives of cooperation agencies and donors. It provided a detailed overview of the reforms underway and presented the investment opportunities offered by the country and the progress made, such as the decentralization of investment-related services, allowing for better responsiveness and proximity to investors.
For the Moroccan government, this new charter is a key element of its economic revival strategy, aiming in particular to increase private investment directed towards productive sectors that generate jobs and added value.
This initiative aligns with global efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goals, whether it be reducing territorial disparities, strengthening women's empowerment, youth employment, combating climate change, or accelerating investments in energy transition.
