Morocco – Spain: The Minister Receives the Spanish Ambassador to Morocco

The Minister of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Karim Zidane, received the Spanish Ambassador to Morocco, Mr. Enrique Ojeda Vila, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. The meeting reflects the strength of bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the discussion, both parties emphasized the depth of Moroccan-Spanish relations, built on mutual respect and the enduring friendship between the two Royal families. They also highlighted the renewed strategic partnership between the two nations, particularly in the context of the joint organization of the 2030 FIFA World Cup, marking a significant milestone in this bilateral cooperation.
In this context, the Minister reaffirmed Morocco's commitment to strengthening economic cooperation and promoting investment with Spain, praising the confidence that Spanish companies have in the Kingdom. He also highlighted the promising opportunities to deepen this cooperation in the fields of industry, agri-food, renewable energy, and tourism, fostering sustainable growth and mutual benefit for both countries.
