Morocco – United Kingdom: The Minister Receives the British Minister for Services, Small Businesses, and Exports

The Minister of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Karim Zidane, received the British Minister for Services, Small Businesses, and Exports at the Department for Business and Trade, Mr. Gareth Thomas, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. The meeting reflects the strength of bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the discussion, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation, building on the deep historical ties that unite the two Kingdoms, founded on friendship and mutual respect between the two Royal families. They also emphasized the importance of consolidating multidimensional strategic partnership, which spans various sectors of common interest.

In this context, the Minister welcomed the fact that strengthening the economic and investment partnership between Morocco and the United Kingdom represents an exceptional opportunity. He also highlighted the great opportunities available for British companies wishing to invest in Morocco, particularly in strategic sectors such as infrastructure, technology and innovation, renewable energy, transport, and logistics services, as well as other promising fields, contributing to sustainable growth and mutual benefit for both countries.
