Morocco-USA: First Edition of the "US-Morocco Venture Capital Forum"

The Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Mohcine JAZOULI, participated on Monday May 27 in Marrakech, in the first edition of the "US-Morocco Venture Capital Forum," organized by the United States Embassy in Morocco and "Prosper Africa."
During his speech at the forum, the Minister recalled that "under the Enlightened Leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, the Kingdom has experienced significant development and has become a regional economic power house characterized by modernity and diversity, with world-class infrastructure." He also emphasized that "American venture capital investors participating in this forum can play a crucial role in achieving this goal by bringing their expertise and resources to support the growth of Moroccan startups."
On the other hand, the United States Ambassador to Morocco, Mr. Puneet TALWAR, praised the progress made by Morocco in terms of infrastructure and improving the business climate, highlighting that the country has become "one of the most attractive on its continent."
Notably, several personalities took part in this event, including the Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Mrs. Ghita MEZZOUR, the Coordinator of "Prosper Africa," Mrs. British ROBINSON, as well as venture capital investors and founders of Moroccan startups in the fields of climate, health, agriculture, fintech, and deeptech.
