Parliament: Plenary session with the Minister of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies at the House of Representatives

Mr. Mohcine JAZOULI, the Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Public Policy Evaluation, responded on May 16, 2023, to questions from members of the House of Representatives. 

It was an opportunity to take stock of the implementation of the new Investment Charter, 5 months after its publication. The Minister described progress on all fronts, including the implementation of two support mechanisms, a 45% reduction in the documents required from investors, and the unification of investment governance, notably that of the Regional Investment Centers (CRI), around the Head of Government. All these advances have already significantly boosted both national and international investment in Morocco. 

This is expected to be confirmed during the upcoming national investment commission to be held in the coming days. The road ahead is still long. But the projects are underway, and the government is sparing no effort to further improve the business climate and facilitate investment.
