Reform of the Regional Investment Centers: The Minister Holds a Meeting with CRI Directors

The Minister of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Karim Zidane, chaired a meeting on Monday, January 13, 2025, with the directors of the 12 Regional Investment Centers (CRIs), in the presence of the Director General of the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development.
This meeting is part of the positive momentum experienced by the investment sector in Morocco, driven by the adoption of the new Investment Charter, launched in line with the High Directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him.
It is worth noting that this meeting marks the first of its kind since the entry into force of Law 22.24, which amends and supplements Law 47.18 on the reform of Regional Investment Centers and the establishment of unified regional investment commissions.
The revision of the CRI’s legal framework is a cornerstone of the new policy being implemented by the government to enhance the role of these centers as key players in promoting investment, leveraging territorial assets, and improving the investor journey.
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of working in synergy and fostering a spirit of cohesion, as a unified team, to achieve tangible results in attracting investments and strengthening Morocco's position in strategic and future-oriented sectors.
