Regional business climate: the Marrakech-Safi CREA draws up its biannual balance sheet and presents its roadmap for 2025-2027

The Ministry of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies took part in the event organized, Wednesday June 26, 2024 in Marrakech, by the Regional Business Environment Committee of the Marrakech - Safi Region (CREA-MS), dedicated to the presentation of its biannual assessment and its roadmap for the period 2025-2027, under the presidency of the Wali of the region, Mr. Farid CHOURAK.

Speaking at the opening of the event, Rita MAHFOUDI, Advisor to the Minister for Investment, Convergence and Public Policy Evaluation, representing MICEPP, recalled "the Kingdom's commitment, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, to make private investment the cornerstone of the Kingdom's new socio-economic development". This public-private dialogue, she added, was an opportunity to highlight the importance of strengthening coordination mechanisms at territorial level to improve the business environment, which is essential to build investor confidence.

For his part, the acting Managing Director of CRI-MS, Mr. Mohamed Amine SABIBI, hailed the efforts made to improve the business climate in Marrakech-Safi region, stressing that investment promotion is of great importance as an essential lever for stimulating the national economy.

It should be noted that this one-day event, which included the presentation of the new CREA-MS roadmap, was initiated by the Marrakech-Safi Regional Investment Center, in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, and the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM)
