Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding aiming to create 1500 high value added jobs in the digital field by 2027

The Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr Mohcine JAZOULI, and the Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Mrs Ghita MEZZOUR, along with the CEO of Inetum Mr Jacques POMMERAUD, signed on Monday, April 29 2024 in Rabat, a memorandum of understanding aiming to create 1500 high value added jobs in the digital field by 2027 with an expected investment exceeding 50 million dirhams
This memorandum comes in response to the Royal Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, calling for intensified efforts to simplify procedures to attract foreign investments, especially in promising sectors, to provide job opportunities for Moroccan skills, especially engineers and graduates from leading management schools
This MoU also fits within the framework of transforming the Kingdom of Morocco into an attractive destination for foreign investments, thanks to its attractive business climate, qualified human capital, political stability, strategic regional and continental position, as well as advanced infrastructure, accompanied by the government's continued commitment to investment
Mr Mohcine JAZOULI emphasized on this occasion that this initiative reflects Inetum's commitment to contributing to the economic and technological development of Morocco, and that the development of investment in this future sector of the Moroccan economy is decisive in creating job opportunities for qualified Moroccan skills
