AFIS 2024: The Minister attends the opening ceremony of the Africa Financial Summit

The Minister of Investment, Convergence, and Public Policy Evaluation, Mr. Karim Zidane, attended the opening ceremony of the Africa Financial Summit - AFIS 2024, held on Monday, December 9, 2024, in Casablanca. The event is organized by Jeune Afrique Media Group, in partnership with the IFC - International Finance Corporation, under the theme: "A New Era: The Time is Now to Mobilize Africa's Financial Power.“

This event brought together over 1,000 participants from 65 countries, including finance ministers, central bank governors, and regulators, and featured high-level conferences and debates.

The discussions focused on bold solutions and collective commitments to shape a more inclusive and resilient financial ecosystem, while affirming Africa’s role as a pillar of the global economy.
