CGEM Business Councils Meeting: Morocco, A Hub for FDI and the Internationalization of Businesses

The Minister of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Mohcine Jazouli, took part in the meeting of the Presidents of the CGEM Business Councils on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, in the presence of Mr. Chakib Alj, President of the CGEM, along with several key private sector actors.

Discussions focused on global economic and geostrategic challenges, as well as the strategic role of business councils in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and supporting the internationalization of Moroccan companies.

"In a world where geopolitical rivalries are intensifying and industrial value chains are being reorganized, Morocco is reinforcing its position day by day as a 'connector country,' thanks to the reforms and strategies implemented under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him," stated the Minister.
