Japan: Minister receives the president of Sumitomo

Rabat, Wednesday, January 15, 2025

The Minister of Investment, Convergence and Public Policy Evaluation, Mr. Karim Zidane, received on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, Mr. Ishii Shoji, President Sumitomo Electric Europe Ltd. (Italy Branch), the largest private employer in Morocco with over 25,000 jobs in several regions of the Kingdom.

This meeting allowed the representatives of Sumitomo to present the various ongoing industrial projects in Morocco and discuss ways to accelerate their implementation.

The Minister reiterated the government’s support for these job-creating projects and its commitment to accompany them throughout their realization.
