Marrakech Air Show: Investment agreement signed with Embraer, world leader in aeronautics

On the occasion of the Marrakech Air Show 2024, the Ministry of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Moroccan Agency of Development of Investments and Exportations, signed a partnership agreement with Embraer, the renowned Brazilian aerospace company.

This $1 billion investment underscores Morocco’s position as a growing regional hub for aerospace and defense, with plans to create 1,000 jobs by 2035. This ambitious initiative will drive the development of a robust ecosystem focused on Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), sourcing, and specialized training.

Thanks to its advanced infrastructure and attractive incentives, Morocco is solidifying its role as a premier platform for aerospace and defense in the region.
