Marrakech: Minister attends the International Conference on Innovation and Investment in Tourism

Mr. Karim ZIDANE, Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, took part, alongside Mrs. Fatim-Zahra AMMOR, Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, in the international conference on innovation and investment in tourism in Marrakech. The event, which brought together numerous players and experts in the field, was organized by the Société Marocaine d'Ingénierie Touristique and the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, in collaboration with UN Tourism.

The conference was an opportunity to highlight the synergy between innovation and investment in the tourism sector, a strategic lever for boosting the competitiveness of Morocco as a destination and attracting more investment opportunities.

Investment in Morocco is undergoing a positive dynamic thanks to the new Investment Charter, which offers major incentives to encourage investment, particularly in the tourism sector. Tourism is a national priority, a key driver of the economy and a sector with high job creation potential.
