Morocco-France: 3rd Follow-up Committee Meeting on the Agreement Signed with Total, CIP, and AP Moller Capital

The Minister of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Karim Zidane, chaired on Friday, March 14, 2025, the third meeting of the follow-up committee for the contract signed with the Total Energies, CIP, and AP Moller Capital consortium. This meeting marks a key milestone in the implementation of this strategic project dedicated to green hydrogen.

Signed under the Presidency of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him, during the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron, this contract is part of the "Morocco Offer" for green hydrogen.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the initial deliverables from the field studies conducted by the consortium. The findings confirm the project's progress in line with the commitments made, reflecting strong and coordinated mobilization of all stakeholders, both public and private, at the national and international levels.

The implementation of the contract is progressing at a steady pace, indicating Morocco’s commitment to ensuring the optimal deployment of this strategic project, thereby strengthening its leadership in the field of renewable energy.
