Morocco-Japan: Meeting with a Delegation of the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry

The Ministry of Investment, Convergence, and Public Policy Evaluation, along with the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), welcomed a high-level Japanese delegation on Thursday, November 28, 2024, in Rabat. The delegation was led by Mr. SAIKI Kozo, Special Advisor to the Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry of Japan.
During the meeting, Mr. Zakaria FARAHAT, Director of International Cooperation, Communication, and Partnerships, highlighted Morocco's dynamic economic potential for Japanese companies, emphasizing the Kingdom's strategic position as a gateway to global markets and a top destination for sustainable investment, thanks to the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him.
This meeting marked a key step in the implementation of the Memorandum of Investment Cooperation, signed by Minister Karim ZIDANE and Minister Muto Yoji during the Japan-Korea Roadshow, and provided a platform to showcase investment opportunities in Morocco's key sectors, such as automotive, aerospace, and renewable Energy.
