The National Industry Day: a Royal vision at the service of citizens and territories

The Minister of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Mohcine JAZOULI, participated on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, in Benguerir, in the second edition of the National Industry Day, an event held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him. This event was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in partnership with the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and chaired by the Head of Government, Mr. Aziz AKHANNOUCH.

This edition, themed "Inaugurating a new industrial era driven by sovereignty, a Royal vision at the service of citizens and territories“, highlights the profound and strategic ambition for the industrial future of the country. By articulating this vision around sovereignty, emphasis is placed on the importance of economic autonomy in serving the resilience of territories and the well-being of citizens.

This edition serves as a platform to explore new challenges related to the growth of the industrial sector and its full potential. The event focuses on optimizing the performance of decarbonized industrial ecosystems, strengthening competitiveness, stimulating innovation in the national industrial landscape, as well as addressing issues related to energy and water resources.

During this edition, the Minister of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies signed agreements to establish two new industrial acceleration zones in Jorf Lasfar and Benguerir, aimed at encouraging future industrial investments and stimulating economic growth in the coming years.
