Parliament: Discussions on the findings of the Court of Auditors’ report on the investment ecosystem

Rabat, February 10-11, 2025 

The Minister of Investment, Convergence and Public Policy Evaluation, Mr. Karim Zidane, participated on February 10 and 11, 2025, in the plenary sessions of the House of Councillors and the House of Representatives dedicated to discussing the presentation by Ms. Zineb El Adaoui, First President of the Court of Auditors, on the activities of the Financial Courts.

This report provided an opportunity to assess various aspects of the implementation of a comprehensive reform aimed at promoting productive private investment, in line with the High Directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, as well as the recommendations of the report on the New Development Model.

The Minister’s statement focused on presenting data related to the "investment ecosystem" in light of the findings of the Court of Auditors' report for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, highlighting the following key areas:

• The strategy for implementing private investment objectives;
• The establishment of the National Investment Observatory;
• The implementation of investment support mechanisms introduced by the new Investment Charter;
• The deployment of the roadmap for improving the business climate (2023-2026).

This discussion also served as an opportunity to reaffirm the government's commitment to following up on the implementation of the Court of Auditors' recommendations, with the aim of promoting productive investment and creating high-quality job opportunities.
